THE MAGIC WATER

"Do I need to go on about the benefits that water has for life? I guess not. However, drinking the recommended eight glasses of pure, clean water can be a daunting challenge to many of us. Pure water is colourless, odourless and tasteless. So how do we get around just drinking the "usual water" all day long for the rest of our lives? We merely need to spice things up and stop living the boring life. To get started living the fun-filled life with water is to infuse it  with some spices and herbs. Get a mug and fill it with about eight glasses of water, add three teaspoons of ginger for its great digestive properties and two slices of cucumbers. Get a medium sized lemon, dice it and add to the mixture. A handful of freshly diced mint leaves gives a refreshing minty flavour to the mix and also cuts down your hunger pangs and in the reduction of wanting sugars. You get this sense of relief and joy at not having to be bored when drinking water ever again. You can now drink something so healthy and beautiful without feeling guilty or causing your body any harm with artificial sweeteners and colouring agents. Fill it up with the eight glasses of clean water and put it in your fridge and let it infuse for a few hours preferably overnight. To get into the mix and use it every day, it will be convenient if you can get it done every night before going to bed, so you always have a fresh supply every morning. If you have a large family who also enjoys your new found taste of water, you can exponentially increase the number of ingredients you use. When you pour a glass in the morning, it smells so amazing with the aroma filling your kitchen. Your body relaxes at the anticipation of the water hitting your tastes buds. It is a feeling that cannot be rivaled by any other beverage. This beautiful way of refreshing your body is not a one-way street as you can combine different types of spices as suits your taste. It all depends on how you want it."

Cooking techniques for everyday cooking!

"The main techniques are steaming (dum), tempering (tarhka), roasting (bhunnana), frying (talna) and sautéing (bhunao).
  • Maturefoods are the biggest key to quick and healthy weight loss. Maturefoods are nothing but regular foods that have concentrated with nutrients. They could be millets, seeds, certain grass varieties or even fiber-rich foods. Consume them in measured amounts every day and see your weight melting.
  • Always drink enough Magic water. Many times thirst is masked as hunger. So when you are hungry, try drinking water first. It is a proven natural way to fill up the stomach and preventing yourself from gorging later, I have provided the recipe of magic water above please check it for more info.
  • Always preclude lunch with salads or chewy soups. You will be tempted to eat less rice or roti or whatever is for lunch.
  • Ensure all your meals have a protein source. If any meal is lacking in it, throw in an egg or dal to ensure protein.
  • One day in the week can be designated as a cheat day. It will help you to manage cravings and get back on your Indian diet chart for weight loss.
  • On a cheat day, do not overindulge on sweets or fried items. If you feel like it, have a small bite-sized portion to simply curb the craving.
  • Never at any point during the diet, starve yourself. There is evidence that starvation, in fact, leads to overeating.
  • Remember, the short-term goal is not going to yield results. Hence, always focus on clean, healthy eating that promotes weight loss and at the same time can be adopted throughout your life.

Wedding season is here!

Wedding season is here! And you will all agree with me that there comes a moment when you want to lose stubborn fat around your belly just to wear that your favorite clothes. This answer will definitely not help you to lose fat in 15 days if you follow it on a daily basis also.

There are no best indian foods or something that specific that cuts your fat. You only need to eat in right amount. Understand that your weight loss or gain is mostly related to your calorie intake and burn. Since your goal is to lose weight, choose one activity from running, cycling, swimming or any other cardio such as these and mix it with strength training. Use apps like Fitso, Strava, nike+ to maintain your chart and know your calories burned. I would recommend Fitso, as it will help you more than just that.

Regularity, discipline and self control are must for your goal.

Is it true that you are searching for the best Indian eating regimen intend to shed ?

"The principles are basic. You should simply begin eating right. However, in India, this can feel like an unfavorable test, given our nourishment culture and dietary propensities. For example, an average Indian supper is high in starches and sugar – we eat a great deal of potatoes, rice and desserts."

"Many people struggle with weight issues throughout their lives. We constantly diet, and physically exert ourselves in an effort achieve what we believe to be our physical ideal. It is incredibly frustrating to put that amount of effort into transforming your body, only to see little or no results long term. A shift in perspective might lead us to see that the problem is not that we are consuming too much, or moving too little, but instead suffering from an imbalance in our dosha that is presenting itself in the form of digestive and metabolism disorders"

What to eat ?

" Ayurvedic medicine is not about treating symptoms, it is about restoring the entire body to the original balanced state. By treating the root, rather than the symptom you will receive. Stick to whole, unprocessed, Raw foods including fresh, seasonal fruits, vegetables and salads. Salads sometime before meals really help limiting your food intake and provide you with all the essential vitamins and minerals."

"Say no to artificial sugar, sweets, desserts, ice creams, packed food, fried food, all junk food including samosas/pakodas/jalebis, all sugary drinks, artificial juices and sodas."

"Do not skip meals. "

" An increase in weight is due to unhealthy food habits and lifestyle which leads to a weak digestive fire. This increases accumulation of Ama (toxin remain in body due to improper digestion) causing an imbalance in meda (fat tissues) dhatu (body elements) and resulting in obesity."

"Ayurveda is about balance. Keep balance in all of
your actions and decisions, and you will have begun practicing Ayurvedic medicine for yourself. If you are feeling hot physically or emotionally, do something to cool yourself off. If you are feeling congested or stuck, think to yourself what methods or treatment would help to loosen and move your energy. Take special care and precautions when using any herbs or oils, as they are often very powerful and can sometimes have negative side effects when used improperly or in the wrong amounts. However, more than anything, strive to find peace within you and continually seek the beauty of a perfectly balanced mind, body and soul"
